Monterrey

Monterrey is the third-largest metropolis in the country; it's the industrial and cultural capital of northern Mexico. Though there are some colonial-style buildings, Monterrey is one of Mexico's most modern cities. 

The city is surrounded by the Sierra Madre mountains at a height of 1,800 feet above sea level. The view of the mountains is spectacular and is dominated by Cerro de la Silla (Saddle Mountain).

Convention Facilities

Monterrey also has 4,000 hotel rooms in large, full-service meetings hotels and smaller venues to accommodate visitors. Monterrey's Centro Internacional de Negocios (Cintermex), is one of the most important convention centers in North America. The 700,000 sq-ft center provides 59,200 sq-ft for meetings and conventions and 197,841 sq-ft for exhibitions.
