Jorge was born in Mexico City. In 2004 he moved to Cancun, where he started his career in the hospitality industry. Orozco’s professional experience includes working in the concierge express department at Fiest Americana Grand Coral Beach Cancun. He later was promoted to the hotel’s front desk.

Jorge joined IVI Destination Management in 2007 first as a Program Executive and later as a Senior Program Executive. Jorge recently got promoted as the Planning & Purchasing Manager to lead a team of 4 Program Executives in the Planning & Events Department and to supervise the companies' supplier contracting. He has demonstrated strong organizational skills, careful attention to details, and a positive attitude that has earned him recognition in numerous testimonials from satisfied clients.

In his leisure time Jorge loves to read. He also likes art movies and musicals. Jorge is a fan of almost everything related to tennis, and enjoys both watching and playing the game.

Personal Favorites

Local Attraction – Xplor offers a terrific set of outdoor adventures, including 13 zip lines, driving through the jungle in an amphibious vehicle, and rafting in an underground river that flows through stalactite caverns. It’s outstanding!

Recreational Activity – My favorite is tennis. If you play, let me know and I’ll find an empty court for us. Or I’ll arrange a match for you with someone with abilities similar to yours.

Restaurant – I always recommend Puerto Madero Steak House. If you’re a carnivore, you’ll love this place. It has a great view of the lagoon. And be sure not to skip dessert - their desserts are delicious!

Local Tour – Swimming with the dolphins is a great experience. It sounds “touristy,” but it isn’t. Every time I do this I learn something new about these amazing animals.

Local Event – Dia de la Independencia on September 16. Everything is decorated with flags and patriotic colors. There are great parades, non-stop food, drinks, and parties – it’s the country’s Fiesta of all Fiestas!
