Fabian Cruz is a former airline flight attendant and crew trainer, so he understands that making clients happy is crucial to IVI’s reputation. Fabian graduated from high school in Cancun. Later he received airline crew certification from the national aeronautics school in Mexico City, where he is from. He began his professional career as a flight attendant with Allegro Airlines in Cancun, a charter air carrier that later began offering scheduled service.

When Allegro ceased operations, Fabian entered the hospitality field as an IVI event coordinator. However, the lure of the skies led him back into the air, and Cruz became a flight attendant at Avolar Airlines. During his time with Avolar, Fabian earned distinction by becoming the first flight attendant to earn senior and trainer status in less than a year. Later he rejoined IVI. Due to his energy and dedication to client service, IVI is happy to have him back on board and part of our team.

In his personal life, Fabian is an avid volleyball player and licensed referee. His favorite sports teams are Club America in soccer and the Pittsburgh Steelers in football. He also enjoys reading and soaking up knowledge of Mexico’s history and culture, which he is happy to share with clients.

Personal Favorites

Local Attraction – The local beaches, they are absolutely beautiful and I love them. They may just be the best in the world!

Favorite Activity – Xcaret offers a wide choice of great outdoor activities and helps visitors understand the history and culture of the great Mayan civilization.

Favorite Restaurant – I love Italian food, so for me Cenacolo is the finest place in town to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine.

Favorite Tour – The jungle expedition by Alltournative is hard to beat. It’s one of my favorites because the scenery is beautiful, and there is plenty of interaction with the Mayan people. You can snorkel in caverns and cenotes, drive 4 X 4’s through the jungle, and it includes a traditional lunch served in a Mayan village.

Local Event – The Xcaret Spectacular night show has to be the country’s best historic and folkloric show. Different states in Mexico are well depicted through the colorful costumes and the lively music featured in the show. It’s simply amazing!
